Films & Food At The Federal Hall | What’s On
Go for a 15 minute road trip through v. pretty country to see a film and eat delicious food…
Winter Edition 2017
Who doesn’t love the magic combination of a great flick and beautiful food? If you, like most of us appreciate the finer things in life (eating delicious things, watching stuff while not thinking about your work/life balance) you’ll want to put this on your “to do” list.
Federal is a pretty village 15 minutes from Byron Bay known for it’s now rather famous Doma Cafe which some consider to be THE BEST JAPANESE IN THE UNIVERSE. And every 2nd Saturday, Federal Films put on a show at the Federal Hall (also known as Jasper Corner) where the community come together to share food when roaming restaurant Francsico’s Table pops up to serve the crowd their delicious rustic dishes. The locals’ sense of pride in their community is tangible – they banded together in a landmark move to save the very hall we speak of here and for good reason. Go take a look for yourself … Dinner kicks off at 6.30pm and the film of the evening shows at 7.30pm.
