The menu mirrors the plant-based and ethically sourced focus Folk is famous for. We had the Nourishing Bowl (pictured) a concoction of brown rice, quinoa, cumin roasted pumpkin, rainbow salad with tahini & toasted seeds, red cabbage & kale strawberry slaw, kraut, watercress and cherry tomatoes. The verdict? Delicious. Actually we’ve worked our way through both the Folk and Woods menus and find the food consistent, clean and tasty. The rosewater smoothie is a must – pretty, delicious and good for you.
This is how to do a lazy Saturday afternoon in Bangalow, the vibe here is super chilled and the kind of destination cafe that makes Woods an awesome little spot to bring your out-of-town mates to. We ♥
We like WOODS for brunch, this is an ideal spot to take a break from a mid-morning stroll through the many awesome shops that line the main street and side alleys of Bangalow and as a post-market pit stop it’s the perfect antidote.
