A Hawaiian staple, Finn Poké (Pronounced poh-kay) translates to “diced” referring to the cubed fish at the center of the dish accompanied by vegetables and dressed with soy and sesame over a bed of rice.
On the back of the recent influx of raw and vegan establishments into Byron, Finn Poke’ offers a fantastic option for adherents to a raw food diet. The brainchild of renowned restauranteur Charles Olalia and LA food royalty Jen Jacinto, the pair wanted to bring the popular concept from LA to Australia choosing Byron for its emphasis on healthy food and environmental awareness, both philosophies which underpin the Finn Poke’ ethos.
With a focus on affordable dining using locally sourced ingredients the new eatery will offer the option to dine in or takeaway. Finn Poke’ opens on the 17th June and will be located at 8 Fletcher St, Byron Bay.
